On Sunday 2nd July, a select City and County of Swansea Bowling Association Team entertained the West Glamorgan County Representative Team in the beautiful surroundings of Coedgwilym Park.
The match itself resulted in a 60 shot win for the SBA and it was agreed that the fixture would become an annual event in the bowls calendar.
The match was very competitive with the SBA winning on 5 of the 6 rinks on a slick, sometimes, tricky surface.
An excellent day was had by all with the President of West Glamorgan, Mr. Emlyn Williams, and the Secretary of the SBA, Mr. Huw Richards, exchanging gifts at the commencement of the game. Thank you to all at Coedgwilym for hosting the event.
